Teaching them Young!

Those of you who have children, you know that you want them to have everything they ask for and more but then you start to feel somewhat guilty when every time you go to the store you happen to find something new for them-even if you don't find it until you reach the tempting but often meaningless items at the checkout counter (otherwise known as crap!).

So what better time than a rainy day to teach some lessons...
Saturday C.J. brought down his little money pouch and asked if Clark could put some money in it...Clark said, I can give you a job to earn some money for that pouch. I could hear CJ ask why he needed to do a job and I heard Clark explain to him that he goes to work everyday so that he can earn money for the family. CJ started to understand as much as a 3-year old is able and said, "Ok Daddy, then can I have some "jobs"? Clark had already done most of the picking up around the house, as is pretty normal for a Saturday morning so I looked into the bedroom and saw that it sure would be nice to have our bed made. Perfect job! I called CJ into the bedroom and told him he could earn his money by making my bed and putting all the pillows in their respective spots. He did a wonderful job and the pics below are to show his work-and of course, toot Marky on the bed laughing and about to mess up his brother's work! CJ earned $25 cents!

TAAA-DAAAA!!!!
