Today is Grammy's birthday and like many days, she is giving of herself in Waco helping Michelle with her new baby girls. I could write and write and write and not have enough words to express how wonderful my mother is, Grammy to our boys and new triplet nieces.
She is always there when we need her, she thinks in a very level-headed way, she is the rock of our family, the glue that holds us together, the one that smooths things out when it gets rough. She is intelligent in a way that we cannot describe, she is creative beyond belief. She not only takes care of our dad, us girls and our husbands and our children, but she takes care of her own mother (our Mimi) doing her laundry, keeping her supplied with all her favorite things to keep her comfortable in her nursing home while she sits pretty in her "Cadillac" of beds! Mom has taught me how to be the best wife that I can be to Clark, how to listen and when to chime in and when to sit silent. She is classy and cute! She loves to give. She is always one step ahead (or more)! She is kind and considerate. My list could go on and on!
I asked CJ what he would like to tell Grammy if he could tell her anything he wanted...He said, "I would like to tell her that I want to give her a big race car for a prize!" Race cars are the prizes of prizes!
She is the mother of all mothers!
These are a few snapshots of Grammy!

If she could be anywhere during this time in her life, I know it would be right where she is at!
Happy Birthday Mom (Grammy)!!
