This is a blog of the many things that have happened over the course of the last week. Night time is the only time I have to sit and upload pictures etc so my blog posts seem to be piling up. This one catches us up to today although we have more from today that I will share tomorrow...hopefully!
Starving boys right after they all woke up the other morning. They pulled a chair up to the island and climbed up to see what was coming. We had to start off with milk and Ovultene since I couldn't get breakfast done fast enough!
He continues to do well in our school lessons. We are getting through the struggles of him thinking he has to do everything perfect and getting down on himself. I don't ever pressure him to do things perfectly but I do get frustrated when he can't sit still so I am learning to find ways for him to get his wiggles out! This past week we started to make some real strides in our reading. He is starting to sound out the following words: am, at, eat, me, met, mat, ram, rat, sat, see, seed, set, and seat. We read our first sentence today: See me eat. We're getting to the "big boy" pages as he calls them so he gets excited at that.
Learning to set the table from one of our school lessons.
Writing their letter "B"s in cooking oil.
At the splash pad with Grandma
Making his brothers laugh at dinner...an every night occasion!
Mark
Last week he had his first day of gym class. This was his first time to be in any sort of organized class or sport and he did wonderful. He was the only boy with two other girls in the class so the teacher spent some time re-directing him but for the most part he followed directions and he certainly had fun!

Hop, hop, hop!
So excited as he saw the room with all the equipment.
Just playing with all the outdoor gear. These overalls were CJ's last year and now we're passing them down to Mark.

Peyton
Tuesday we noticed that he had red bumps on his rear end, feet, hands, mouth and tongue. We knew it was hand, foot and mouth so we kept him home until today. He actually passed it to Mark so they both have been confined to the house until Peyton's doctor appointment today.
We had his 15 month check up today and he is still at the 95th percentile (33 and 1/4 inches) in height and his weight has gone to the 90th (28 pounds)! Still a big boy...doctor says he's leaning out a bit but still far from average! He also got two shots today. I had CJ and Mark with me and when Peyton got his shots, CJ held his hand and I kept looking down at CJ and he looked so sad. When the nurse left the room CJ said, "I almost cried with Peyton." He was such a good big brother. While I rounded up Mark I asked CJ to help me get Peyton dressed. He put his pants on him and pulled his shirt down and when I sat Peyton up, CJ gave him a big hug!
I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and she is measuring right on target. On the sonogram her head was up by my belly button and legs too...her bottom was down on my left side. She should turn around 30 weeks if not before. I go back in 3 weeks and I will be 28 weeks, then I will go every 2 weeks. I can't believe its gone by this fast.
This is a canvas picture that my sister Mandy gave me! Its so pretty!
Bathroom valance and towel that mom finished. Once she has the hand towel finished we will monogram!
